Dear God,
Ain’t no fun bein’ a nun,
You get all sweaty when you’re out in the sun!
What was I thinking, taking the vow?!
Life as a sister ain’t so easy now…
Got a bad haircut, covered it up.
Only good thing is the wine in this cup.
Gave up the cigarettes (most of the time),
Writing in my prayer book and making them rhyme.
Singing them songs, mornin t’night,
Praying ‘bout the wrongs and makin’ them right.
Thank you for list’ning God Almighty,
Now I’ll stop my ranting, and and say goodnighty.
